I ACTUALLY MADE SPROUTS! Jul 08, 2010 How many attempts, with how many so-called sprouters I bought, have ended in utter disaster? Too many to count! But, with this little gem of a product, I'm having success and we're finally eating home-made sprouts! It' really IS easy, and a pleasure to use. So even if, like me, you've bombed in the past in the sprout department, have no fear, hope is here. "Easy Sprout" lives up to its name. It's so easy! Jun 29, 2010 This sprouter makes sprouting seeds, beans, etc. as easy as it can possibly be. I've tried alfalfa, wheat, barley, and garbanzos and all came out beautifully. I highly recommend it!
I love it! Jun 13, 2010 Can't really add any more than the other (great) reviews here except to chime in and say that this sprouter is the bomb-didally!
I too went on the sproutpeople website as well as looked at the videos on YouTube and I'm so glad I did because it really, really helped - not to mention makes me laugh!
I'm so thrilled and excited to be able to get fresh, healthy 'produce' right in my own kitchen that is the ultimate in nutrition and available year round and so versatile. It's truly the answer to just about anything!
I didn't realize how spoiled I was to have lived my entire life where fresh, organic produce is so readily available, inexpensive and of fabulous quality only to find all the opposite where I live now. It has really made the transition somewhat depressing.
Being able to grow the sprouts has really perked me up and done wonders for my mood.
And my dog likes them too!
I will definitely be ordering another one soon as I can see the reason and need to have a number of them around. I ordered mine from Frontier and was pleased with them. My first batch of seeds came from Sprouthouse here on Amazon - a nice blend with a radish spicey kick.
Definitely watch the videos and you'll soon be addicted (in a good way) to sprouting! :)

okay, not exactly "easy" Jun 03, 2010 This sprouter is cheaper than those found at my local health food store and works well, but it's still a hassle to use and clean. After losing interest in making sprouts because of the hassles involved in this set-up, I'm considering the Tribest Automatic Sprouter, which is available from [...] for a bit less than on Amazon.
Favorite Sprouter May 25, 2010 This design is the best.
As long as your seeds are viable, these sprouters make growing fresh sprouts unbelievably easy.
Now, instead of purchasing bland, expensive alfalfa sprouts in the grocery store, which is often all that's available, we can grow fresh mixes that have more flavor and crunch.
They're wonderful on sandwiches and add a lot to salads.
We eat a lot of salads, especially in the summer months and our climate is too hot to grow most lettuces during the summer.
Growing our own sprouts allows us to add nutrition and interest to simple meals year round.
Years ago, I used the jar method, but nothing I've tried works as well as these simple sprouters. They truly are Easy Sprouters.
