Best alternative out there. Dec 26, 2008 I use this device with my come-along to stretch fence wire. I haven't found anything else as simple and reliable.
It would be nice if the jaw teeth were a little bit sharper to bite into the run strands on anti-walk-down fencing. This wire is harder than standard barbed wire and tends to slip in the Wire Grip's jaw.
